Sunday Worship, July 20th: A Living Sacrifice To God Part 2
In the second part of Romans 12, we shift from our relationship with God to our relationships with one another. Paul encourages us to think humbly and honestly about ourselves, recognizing that our gifts and strengths come from God. As members of one body in Christ, we are called to use those gifts to serve each other with love, enthusiasm, and sincerity.
This passage challenges us to live lives marked by genuine love, patience, humility, and forgiveness, especially when wronged. We're reminded that true transformation shows up in how we treat others: not repaying evil with evil, but overcoming it with good. Even in difficulty, we’re called to bless, not curse, and to let our lives be living testimonies of peace, honor, and unity.
Through it all, Paul reminds us: it won’t always be easy, but we belong to one another. And when we live out our faith together, love wins.
